Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Upon arrival, our guide will be holding a sign with your name and welcome you at Noi Bai International airport with flight as: arrive @ ….. – …, , transfer to Hanoi Old Quarter and drop at hotel to check in. The rest of the day, you can stroll around the Old Town to get used to the City or just relax to recover from the jetlag. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will meet you at lobby of hotel at 08.30am to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s
key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology
Museum). Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Travel about four hours to reach the port of Halong Bay. Called “Bay of Descending Dragons” in Vietnamese, the archipelago of Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle clad limestone pillars. Hop onboard a traditional junk and over lunch cruise to a secluded corner of the marine park. Spend the next few hours visiting ancient limestone caves and paddling around on sea kayaks.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang (B/L)
Start the day early to enjoy a Tai Chi class on top deck with an opportunity to admit the magnificent scenery of sunrise over the sea. After that, you can choose to go to Soi Sim beach for swimming or join your chef for cooking demonstration to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine art. On the way back, take deep cruise into Bai Tu Long Bay, passing Pearl Farm, Phao Dai islet, Tam Cung cave, Hon Xep islet, Dau Moi temple…end of the tour at 4.30pm at your hotel, then our driver will meet you and take to Noi Bai Airport for short flight to Da Nang. Your driver and guide will meet you outside the baggage claim of Da Nang Airport and take you to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Tra Que Village (B/L)
In the morning, take half day excursion to Tra Que Vegetable Village, walk around a vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake, raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. After gardening activities you will be relaxed with foot massage with many kind of herb remedies. Then spend the rest time to learn how to prepare ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll & banh xeo with your host. Ride back to your hotel.
In the afternoon you will visit Hoi An ancient town. The visit includes Japanese covered bridge, some Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical Vietnamese houses of 18 century. Free time then on for shopping or relax at café etc. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Da Nang – Fly to Nha Trang (B/L)
After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Da Nang Airport for a southwards flight to the beach city of Nha Trang. Upon arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, meet your tour guide and a driver, then visit the ancient Po Nagar Cham Tower, Long Son Pagoda and Dam Market on the way to your hotel. Rest of the day, spend your free time on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang (B)
Free for leisure in Nha Trang in your own way. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Nha Trang – Da Lat (B)
After breakfast at hotel you will drive up-hills to Da Lat with a stopover of rural Nha Trang on your way out for a peek of what countryside living in Vietnam is all about. You will reach the mountain town of Da Lat, known as the “City of Eternal Spring”, after four hours on the road. An afternoon of sightseeing takes in the art deco former summer residence of Bao Dai – the last Emperor of Vietnam, the old Da Lat Railways Station, the Central Market and famous XQ embroidery workshop. There will be the chance for a short walk around the Lake to get a feel for this delightful city in the evening. Overnight in Da Lat
Day 9: Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
Have breakfast at the hotel then leave Dalat for Elephant Falls – one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Vietnam Central Highlands. En route, visit a coffee plantation, vegetable farms, a cricket farm, a rice wine processing plant and a silk-worm factory. Stop at a hill tribe village of the K’Ho ethnic minority group, there, you will learn more about the important Gong culture (The Space of Gong Culture in the Central Highlands of Vietnam) which has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage. You can wander around the village and experience local lifestyles.
Return to the city for lunch. Transfer to Lien Khuong Airport and take your flight to Saigon. On arrival, your driver will pick you and transfer you to your hotel in the centre of the City. Overnight in Ho Chi minh
Day 10: Cu Chi and Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast, transfer to Cu Chi Underground Tunnel – where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Back to Ho Chi Minh for lunch. After lunch serving with Pho Vietnam or Bun Chả (local foods), transfer to War Crimes Museum to see back war’s trophies. Free for shopping at Ben Thanhmarket. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
After breakfast, our driver (no tour guide) will pick you up at lobby of hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to Ho Chi Minh International Airport for flight back home
