Day 01: Hanoi arrival
Upon arrival Hanoi, welcomed by our tour guide and shuttle bus of Slandtravel at the airport then you will be transferred to the hotel in city centre. Check in and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. It is a very attractive city with French-style architecture. You have a full day of sightseeing ahead, including a visit to One Pillar Pagoda, which was built by Ly Thai Tong and the Temple of Literature, founded by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong. Stop in the heart of Hanoi at Hoan Kiem Lake, which contains an islet with a tiny Tortoise Pagoda. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Opera House and St. Joseph Cathedral. Conclude with a visit to Bao Tang Lich, once the museum of l Ecole Francaise d Extreme Orient, which includes artifacts from Vietnam s turbulent history. Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay Overnight Cruise. (B/L/D)
Our guide will pick you up at lobby of hotel at 8.00 to 8.30am and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay (the World Natural Heritage site) via the Red River Delta. After 3.5 hours driving, arrival at Halong Pier, you check out the junk cruise while lunch is served. You will cruise passing through the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons teeth. After lunch, you take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. In the late afternoon, you visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, you do kayaking or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and later unwind at a restaurant. Overnight onboard.
Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang (B)
This early morning, after waken up by the sounds of waves and birds welcoming the new day, you will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto. You will have one more time take a walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Check out the junk and get on car to departure to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Danang. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 05: Hoi An City Tour (B/L)
Today there are a lot of time to explore Hoian ancient town, once a major Asian trading port in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Hoi An’s architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years. Take a leisurely walking tour of the ancient town center and visit the sites of former merchants’ homes, a 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and a Chinese Communal Hall. Believed to have been settled no less than 2,200 years ago, Hoi An was known as Faifo to early Western traders. Hoi An was one of the major ports of Southeast Asia from the 17th to 19th centuries. Chinese, Japanese, French, English, Spanish, Portuguese and other traders had small communities here, and the old wooden houses, bridges and temples that remain are reminiscent of a Vietnam of centuries past. This unique old trading town slowly became isolated due to its river silting up and by destroyed rail lines, leaving it untouched by war and frozen in time. Nowadays, this absolutely charming and relaxed town has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 06: Land Transfer Hoian – Hue. (B)
After breakfast, free for leisure until our guide and driver will take you over the beautiful Hai Van Pass – Vietnam s geographical and psychological boundary between north and south to get to Hue. The peak of the pass lies perpetually shrouded in clouds. Arrival Hue in Hue afternoon, check in, relax. Overnight in Hue.
Day 07: Hue City Tour (B/L)
8.30am our guide pick up you at the hotel’s lobby and start the trip. We visit the ancient capital before taking a boat to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the royal tombs of Khai Dinh or Tu Duc. These are two among the 13 kings of the Nguyen Dynasty which lasted from 1802 until 1945. On the returning trip to your hotel, stop at Dong Ba market, where you can buy local products for souvenir. Overnight in Hue.
Day 08: Hue – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Free time until we transfer you to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. There is no tour activity today but your own free time. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 09: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong delta – My Tho Tour (B/L)
Pick up at your hotel in HCMC at 8.00 AM. A smooth one-and-half-hour drive through rice field scenery along National Highway 1 brings you to the beautiful rural district of Trung Luong. Take a motor boat to enter My Tho city through Bao Dinh natural canal. Then pay a visit to My Tho s colorful street fruit market alongside the canal to soak up the lively atmosphere and watch the local trade their produce. Take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River. En route, view the fishing port, the traditional stilt houses and boat building workshops, and the other three evocatively-named islands – Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn islands. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch served right in the heart of the orchard to the accompaniment of Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by the islanders. After visiting the coconut candy mill, take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal. Then continue to Ben Tre province, “the country of coconuts”, to see a typical agricultural model known as “Garden – Pond – Cage”. Enjoy a relaxing cup of honey tea before returning to My Tho via Tan Thach natural canal, cruising under the shadows of water coconut palms. Return to HCMC. Arrive back your hotel at around 4.00 pm. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Phu Quoc Island (B)
Take the short flight from Saigon to Phu Quoc island, a sleepy tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand, 45km south-west of the Vietnam. Transfer to resort on arrival. Phu Quoc s interior is still mostly covered in dense tropical forest and its coastline is ringed with deserted sandy beaches. There are three days free to enjoy this tropical hideaway. Overnight at the hotel in Phu Quoc Island.
Day 11: Phu Quoc Island (B)
Freely at your own leisure in Phu Quoc.
Day 12: Phu Quoc Island (B)
Freely at your own leisure in Phu Quoc.
Day 13: Flight Phu Quoc – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Return Ho Chi Minh City by flight from Phu Quoc. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Free for leisure until our driver (no tour guide) will pick you up at lobby of hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for flight back home
